Be Responsive & Interactive
With imaginative visuals, installations, and kinetic sculptures, the Paramount Peace Park celebrates tree canopies while supporting a space for peace and serenity. Respecting both nature and the elements, all structures anchored into the hill were set using an air knife, protecting existing roots. All trails were designed by environmental engineers to ensure the most responsible and accessible design for public use.
The Paramount Peace Park is engineered to enable access to everyone. The trail design allows access to all walking zones of the hill and viewing platforms. Accessible sidewalks provide views along the top and bottom of the park's span.
Demand a Wider Scope
The Paramount Peace Park was created in consideration of the Near East Side Quality of Life plan, and was designed with approval of the Brookside Neighborhood Association. This enabled the scope of the project to reach larger community goals and play a role in the greater push for revitalization in NESCO.
With a planned attrition-replacement process for outside art installations, there will be annual additions and substitutions in the park's artwork. This means that there will be dynamic change from year to year, encouraging repeat visits.
